Our Services
At-home gentle euthanasia
Saying goodbye to your closest companion can be made harder when it happens in an unfamiliar setting, filled with strange smells, lights, and noises. Opting for a peaceful euthanasia conducted in the comforting familiarity of their own home reduces the stress not only for your cherished friend but also for you and your family.
Our prices include everything that is necessary to assist in the last peaceful moments of your companion animal’s life, from the vet’s visit to the medicines that allow for a tranquil euthanasia.

Individual Cremation
Once your best friend is free from suffering you can decide what the best next step is for you and your family. At Valinor Vets we collaborate with Dignity Pet Crematorium which offers individual cremation (where you receive back the ashes). You can find more information about the types of cremation and their services on their page. You can choose to take your animal to Dignity yourself or have the crematorium collect them from your home following the euthanasia. If necessary, for dogs under 40kg, we can provide support with this step.
Extra-Large dogs (40kg and upwards)
£325
Donate the remains to the Veterinary Educational Memorial Programme
The program enables pet owners to contribute the remains of their beloved companion animals to the University of Surrey Veterinary School. This contribution serves as a valuable resource for educating future veterinarians. The immeasurable educational significance of this resource is deeply appreciated by both the faculty and the students. The Veterinary School ensures that all animal donations are handled with the utmost dignity and respect.
We will collect and transport to the University all donations. Subsequently, the pets are cremated at no cost, and their ashes are thoughtfully placed in a designated memorial area at the Dignity Crematorium. This space provides an opportunity for owners to pay their respects if they so desire.
Please inform us at the time of booking if you wish to participate in this programme.
